Oppo unveiled the Find N5 in February, and it looks like the company is already gearing up for its next foldable flagship, likely named the Find N6. New information coming out of China gives us an early look at what to expect from the device.
The Find N6 reportedly features an 8.1-inch inner folding display paired with a 6.6-inch outer panel. Powering the phone is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, backed by a roughly 6,000mAh battery—suggesting strong performance and long battery life.
In terms of cameras, Oppo is said to be equipping the phone with a 50MP main shooter using Sony’s Lytia LYT-808 sensor, accompanied by another 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom.
Security will again come via a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. The device is also rumored to offer a high level of water resistance and support wireless charging. Interestingly, early whispers suggest the Find N6 will be slimmer and lighter than Oppo’s current Ultra model—either the Find X8 Ultra or the upcoming Find X9 Ultra. If it’s being compared to the Find X8 Ultra, we’re looking at a folded thickness of under 8.8mm and a weight below 226g.
For context, the Find N5 measures 8.9mm when folded and weighs 229g, so these rumored improvements seem entirely plausible.
